For 2017, Honda has been floored with more awards, trophies, and medals than ever before. With top dogs like Car and Driver, KBB, and U.S. News constantly heaping annual praise on Honda, it’s no surprise that the brand sits atop the rankings each year. Their cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs are simply loved by all who witness them, critics and consumers alike. Here are all the wins Honda took home this year.
Car and Driver Awards
Owning a reputation as the chieftain of automotive publications, Car and Driver always knows best. Its annual 10Best list is every shopper’s go-to resource for a reason. No stranger to that list is the Honda Accord, who now makes a remarkable and unprecedented 31st appearance on Car and Driver’s stage. Perhaps it’s the Accord’s refined cabin that landed it there. Or could it be the car’s excellent performance and fuel economy? Why not choose all of the above?
Car and Driver also releases its list of editor’s choices each year. For 2017, the jury is in, and they’ve determined that the following new Honda models are guilty (of being fab-u-lous):
- CR-V (Compact Crossover/SUV)
- Accord (Family Sedan)
- Civic Hatch (Compact Hatchback)
- Fit (Subcompact Hatchback)
- Ridgeline (Mid-Size Pickup)
- Civic (Compact Car)
- Fit (Subcompact Car)
- Odyssey (Minivan)
Kelley Blue Book Winners
Online automotive warriors at KBB.com always dish out the goods with their numerous yearly awards. (If they aired an award show, we’d gleefully watch it.)
KBB’s 2017 Best Buy Awards pushes three Honda models to the top of the pack; the Honda Civic, Pilot, and Accord. The 2017 Accord was the winner of the “Family Car” category, while the Pilot took home the award for Mid-Size SUV. The Honda Civic drove away as not only the winner in the Small Car category, but it also earned the Overall Best Buy Award.
The KBB Best Resale Value Awards also featured the following Honda vehicles:

U.S. News Car Awards
The prestige keeps piling up for Honda. With the 2017 Fit, HR-V, Odyssey, and CR-V winning Best Cars for Families and Best Cars for the Money Awards, Honda has definitely won over the judges’ panel at U.S. News. They’ve even been recognized as the Best SUV Brand in America.
Other Honda Accolades

Winning isn’t new for the CR-V, and its trophy display case just got a bit more crowded after placing first in AutoGuide.com’s 2017 Utility Vehicle of the Year competition. Beating out the likes of the Ford Focus RS and F-150, the 2017 Honda CR-V is the year’s finest SUV.
